Would life be easier if you could pause before you react, in order to choose how you want to act? Centering your energy gives you this gift of pausing before you act in difficult situations, so you can be more effective in life.   When we are reacting, our energy is flaring out of our personal space like a hot fire, causing people around us to react too. This can create a mess of relationships, and keeps us from being authentic with each other.

When we learn how to center our energy along our spine, we are calm and people around us can also be calmer.  Calm creates an opening where more creative options can be considered for handling a situation.  In this guided meditation, you will use both Earth and Universal divine and intelligent energies to pull your energy back in towards your spine, where you can use it to calmly make decisions in the moment that will help your relationships.

    Being in the television news industry is one of the most challenging jobs. I have worked for years in this medium but over a period, I realised I am unable to concentrate or give my 100% at work. I guess stress, tension and pressure accumulated over the years somehow subconsciously made me unhappy.

    My productivity was severely hit as the amount of mistakes I made while working for a news show was unforgivable. But, because, I was senior I was given two warnings. I knew that my time was running out and I was unable to change the way worked. One more warning and I was going to be fired.

    My boss called me and introduced me to Quiet Pathway — Centering Your Energy for Personal Resilience — Guided Meditation by Octavia Brooks. It was a slow process but after a point I could focus on grounding with the earth and connecting with universe. Doing this helped me channelize my energy into positive thoughts and my body was recharged. During the meditation, I focused from the base of my spine to reach out to the centre of the earth. My life has changed ever since.
    I am back in form at work. People now want me to produce their shows because I have been able to handle the stress, manage the frustration and sail through the intense pressure. Listening to Octavia Brook’s voice first thing in the morning clears the cobwebs and gets me focused at work.
